 My lovely friend Yijie (from my tragic life of a med student) has been taking me on walks because the best week of the year "CONFERENCE WEEK"is coming up in around a month which means doing the most exercise I've done in years.

It's a lovely walk goes from random farm scenery with horses to the beach. It's actually just fucking awesome. She took some photos and talks about it on her blog - so go check it out.

Anyway she has also been raving about this coffee place - and FINALLY today I got to tag along to check it out.

Ice Coffee - $5.50

If you are looking for the top echelons of coffee in Adelaide - Coffee by the beans is where you want to be heading.

I am a wimpy snob about my ice coffee. I hate it when it's anything but espresso on ice and milk. That ice cream and whipped cream crap, just ruining the coffee. But then I need syrup because I'm a complete wimp. And of course being a fancy artisan coffee place that actually sells good coffee, they didn't have any syrup.

BUT the thing is I didn't need any. It tasted good all by itself.
And so this is my new bar of whether coffee is good or bad - "Does it need sugar?"

I don't know if I can have coffee at the hospital ever again.

They also sell a lot of cool stuff - I think it's for making coffee. I don't know. I'm not that classy.

And if the great coffee isn't good enough- the people there are just the nicest. 

One of the guys even made a joke. I love it when people make jokes and just randomly join in - seriously some of the bestest friends have been made that way. 

If you're in and around Adelaide and needing for a caffeine hit (or not there's that decaff option .. but why would you even?) definitely check this place out.

I'm just sitting here wishing it was on the way to uni so I could pick up a nice morning coffee errday.
